10 Year Anniversary of Wicked on West End Brings Return of Rachel Tucker
Wicked has played the West End for 10 years. For the storied anniversary, the long running show will welcome back fan favorite Rachel Tucker.
Rachel Tucker was featured in over 900 performances of Wicked at the Victoria Theatre as Elphaba. Her reign as the green outcast ran from March of 2010 through 2012. She followed this up with a stint on Broadway being featured in Sting’s ill-fated musical The Last Ship.
The actress from Belfast will be featured for five months starting in September and ending January 2017.
Wicked is currently the eight longest running show on the West End, winning two Oliver Awards and catering to millions of theatre goers over its 10 year career. Among the all time longest running shows on the West End, Wicked ranks 17th and will take out Miss Saigon by this time next year.
