Wicked Portland
In the fall of 2024, Wicked will play a two-week tour in Portland, Oregon, at the Keller Auditorium from October 16 to November 3. Featuring a book written by Winnie Holzman with songs and scores composed by Stephen Schwartz of Godspeed and Prince of Egypt fame, Wicked is the story of two friends; blonde and ambitious Galinda, and smart, insightful and emerald skinned Elphaba. They bring differing perspectives and attitudes while vying for the affection of the same man. These two will have to fulfill distinctly opposite destinies, with one becoming the Good Witch of the North while the other, bearing the curse of being the Wicked Witch of the West.
