Salt Lake City to Hold Wicked Ticket Lottery
Drawings will be held on the day-of performance for a limited amount of Wicked orchestra seats. The musical returns to Capital Theatre for performances July 18 through August 26. Two and a half hours before each performance, individuals who appear at the box office of Capitol Theatre will get their names put into a drawing drum. The drawing will take place thirty minutes later for a limited amount of orchestra seats that will cost $25 a piece and must be paid in cash. Individuals must show up in person at Capitol Theatre’s box office to be eligible to participate in the drawing. There is a two ticket limit per person. Participants in the drawing when submitting an entry form must have a photo valid ID to purchase tickets.
Wicked features lyrics and music from composer Stephen Schwartz and book from Winnie Holzman. Joe Mantello, winnner of two Tony Awards, is the director. Musical staging is from Wayne Cilento, Producers are David Stone, Jon B. Platt, The Araca Group, Universal Pictures and Marc Platt.

Wicked is the story of the two girls remarkable journey and how the unlikely friends grow up to be Glinda the Good and Wicked Witch of the West.

The cultural phenomenon continues thrilling audiences all over the world. Currently there are seven worldwide Wicked productions: New York, Holland, Japan, London, Asian/Australian Tour as well as two North American tours.
Wicked performances at Capitol Theatre will start on July 18 and run through August 26.
