Glee Brings Wicked’s Defying Gravity to the Small Screen
Glee, the hit series from FOX previously offered music from Cabaret, the Tony award winning musical to its audience. The episode on November 11 of this music filled program will feature a song from the musical Wicked for their viewers to enjoy.
According to the official website of Idina Menzel, the show’s characters Kurt (Chris Colfer) Rachel (Lea Michele) will sing Defying Gravity, the Act One closer of Wicked. Menzel was the original Elphaba for Wicked as well as the first one to debut the song Defying Gravity on Broadway.
Glee is a music filled television series featuring a high school’s glee club. It airs on Wednesday at 8 PM ET on FOX.
