Wicked Richmond | Landmark Theatre
Have your broom sticks and hats ready as Broadway smash hit “Wicked” enchants the nation with its extensive North American tour. The show is scheduled to hit Richmond, VA from June 3 through 14, 2020 by way of the Landmark Theatre.
Ever wondered what life was like for the Wicked Witch, the famous antagonist in the “Wizard of Oz” story? “Wicked” gives audiences a thorough account of how young Elphaba, born with emerald skin, a critical mind and a resilient nature, transformed to be the Wicked Witch of the West. Adapted from the critically acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire, this award winning musical won the hearts of both audiences and critics with its heartwarming story and ingenuity, as it attempts to provide insight on one of theatre’s well known villains.
